Driver #86 Mini Cooper

As a lifelong motorsport fan Ben grew up watching everything from Formula 1 to the World Rally Championship and after many years of attending track days around the UK, Ben made the decision to take the plunge and enter the world of competitive motorsport. A Mini Cooper S was built over evenings and weekends on the driveway and he finally took part in his first race in 2021.

2022 saw Ben compete in numerous rounds of the MSV Trackday Trophy in the Mini along with selected rounds of both Snetterton Saloons and the Mini Challenge Clubsport series. During the season he secured several top 5 finishes in his class as well as an overall top 10 at Donington Park.

After a successful first racing season, Ben stepped up to ultra competitive Mini Challenge Trophy in 2023 with multiple Championship Winning team Excelr8Motorsport. A rollercoaster of a season which included a massive crash at the opening weekend at Brands Hatch, along the way but overall Ben’s rookie season saw great progression towards the front of the grid.

Ben is returning to the Mini Challenge Trophy in 2024 along with Excelr8 Motorsport, with the aim of consistently breaking into the top 10 whilst also challenging for both Graduate and Directors class honours.
